Looking to foster a deep trust is where I find myself these days. Picture this. Imagine yourself standing in the darkness, all you can see are the beautiful stars that surround you. However, you are unable to move because you cannot see what lies in front of you. You are afraid to venture forth for fear of falling into an abyss. Yet, you know that you cannot stay where you are for that is not living, Frozen, desperate, not sure what to do next. Pleading for direction. As if your prayers for guidance were answered, a beautiful being appears before you calming you in its presence. You sense that for the first time you are being held in the loving embrace of the universe. You are overcome with a deep knowing that you are cared for, you have been given a renewed confidence that you will not walk this journey alone. Without uttering a word, a peace that you have never felt before envelops you. You begin to set aside the need to see everything as you feel life lovingly nudge you along, begging you to follow the bray of your heart. You look to this being who stands before you in the celestial sense, and you hear these words clearly and precisely, “Trust my child, your journey can only continue if you take the next step. Rest assured when you do, the road will rise to meet you.”
And you do, you take the next step. You move forward. With each point of progress, the darkness falls away little by little as you take in the beauty of your own personal enlightenment. Then you find yourself relinquish the need to know as you allow the mystery that is your life to organically unfold.
So here I am. I stand at my own crossroads, hearing this words repeated over and over. This message set out above, is one that I received as clear as day. I was assured in no uncertain words, that if I follow my bliss, the road will rise to meet me. I see it, I know it, I bravely place one foot in front of the other, and feel amazing unfold before me. And as I venture forth with a strong faith to carry me, I sense the beautiful blessings take hold with the wind at my back, the sun shining warm upon my face, the rain baptizing and renewing as it washes over me, and a knowing that God will always hold me in the palm of His hand.
