To see your dreams come to light, you have to start somewhere. So many put their hopes and desires aside thinking that one day will come when someone will give you the magical permission to do so. People everyday will give their energy and time to things that have no import because they choose a safety net rather than risk embarking on a venture that is perceived to be too scary.
Rather than waste another day, you might as well start now by investing in yourself right where you stand and take the time to see your ambitions take flight. Living the life you want means to truly “live life”, not stand on the sidelines watching others do it for you. I have spent the last few years taking the time to focus on the desires that I want to see come to fruition. I have invested time and money in making those dreams into a reality. Perhaps some will say that the results do not show utter success, but for me every day I get closer and closer to seeing my dreams materialize. For it is not what you look at that matters. It is what you see. And what I see is someone who was brave enough to take the next best step to free themselves from judgment so that she can live in a world of her own making. One that is basking in love, bliss and wonder. For when I made the decision to show up in my life, I already succeeded.
I was told yesterday that everything that I seek is right outside my comfort zone. Now is the time to believe I can fly and know that by doing so and making the investment not only will my wings fully expand but others out there may follow suit. As long as I do not place my self worth in the hands of those who do not understand God’s bigger plan for me, I will keep moving forward on the journey. Most definitely, opportunities will come that will help me shine brighter and brighter. I will allow my light to be the beacon for others to follow suit. For I once dreamed just a little dream and gave it what it needed to thrive!
