If you want to move forward in life, it is futile to dwell on the past. It does you no good to continue to judge yourself over and over again for past mistakes that you have made. The past is done. It is the present that is bursting with potential. Give love to your present dreams, give love to yourself and go forth. Figure out what makes you special and do that. If you make people laugh, do that. If you like to share wisdom and insight, do that. If you can heal others with your words or your hands, then do that too. Just keep looking forward and don’t look back. Life is filled with many stages, each one offering you an opportunity to play a different role on order to further develop the amazing human being that you are. Every present and future positive action will assist you in discovering your own beauty within. Just don’t look back or you might lose your direction, quality time better spent on something wonderful, and worst of all, you might lose your way. When a baseball player rounds the bases towards home plate to score a home run, he cannot turn around without losing his forward momentum. Likewise, looking forward will better ensure that you will arrive at your intended destination. And the sun will rise again over your present, as you no longer focus on the sunset going down over your past. Keep shining and imitate the same light that bursts with the hope that accompanies the brilliance of a beautiful future. And know, therein lies your destiny to come!
