Appreciation can make a day, even change a life. Your willingness to put it into words is all that is necessary.
~Margaret Cousins, Irish-Indian educationist, suffragist, and theosophist
There is magic in expressing appreciation. When you acknowledge acts of love in any form, you are magically welcoming more to come. If someone supported you during a difficult time, let that person know how important his or her presence was. If you have succeeded in life because someone believed in your talents, there is no better way to recognize the assistance than by saying thank-you. If someone’s kindness changed the trajectory of your day, there is no better way to return the favor than by expressing gratitude. The sky is the limit as you express your appreciation through hugs, smiles, cards, notes, flowers, visits, music, and so on. Remember that you are who you are today because of the love that was shared with you. Appreciation is the best way to acknowledge those gifts from the universe and encourage others to do the same! There is magic when you tell another that she is valued beyond belief. There is magic when you connect from a place of esteem and recognition of another’s worth in your life. There is magic in your willingness to put into words what you feel inside. When you feel the gratitude in your heart, you must proclaim it to the world. The positive reverberations will influence others in ways you may never know, and the world will be a much better place because you said thank-you!
