A good deed can certainly go a long way. One act of kindness can send shock waves into a world that desperately needs it. A kind word, a compassionate smile, an understanding glance or a moment of communication and clarity; these are all examples of the many different forms of goodness that can be shared readily and easily with so many around us. For it will never be your material possessions that comfort you when you are weary, lonely or lost, it is the love that you share by personally connecting with others in a small or big way that does. Believe in your potential to be a light in this world that can brighten up all that surrounds you. When you do, you cannot even begin to imagine the magnificent and profound impact that your little light will have. If you resolve to go through your days and sparkle like magical pixie dust, perhaps your mere illuminated presence can radiate love on a corner of the world that was once in the dark. And, if you were lucky enough to have been touched by the flame of another candle, pass the fire on that now resides in you so that you can share the glow. If you are blessed with the warmth that accompanied the love of a simple act of care, then choose to pay it forward so others can experience the great fortune of being lit from within. In a world filled with many who are frustrated and angry because of isolation and being misunderstood, when you bring your light to their world the goodness can be shared so that when you need a little assistance yourself it will come back around. When you choose to be a light in this world, you can rest easy that you have contributed to the great karmic circle of love that is so needed in an otherwise weary world.
