This may be easier said than done, but it must be done if we want to embrace the joy that is our birth right! Yes, we all have troubles and pain. It is a part of life. Yet, there must come a time when we let go of thoughts of despair and allow the emotions to move through and out so that we can embrace a life of overwhelming abundance. We get more of what we focus on. Awareness is the key. Life happens, circumstances that challenge us will come and go. When we are faced with a fire that can destroy us, if we believe that it will not, then we can be sure that the phoenix will rise again out of the ashes stronger than before. We get to choose where we go from here. One step at a time, letting go of thoughts that weaken us only to embolden thoughts of empowerment. We all have had moments where we have been dragged kicking and screaming to something that we did not want to do, only to be grateful in the end for having done so. Start dragging yourself away, by the ears, heels or any other way, from negative thoughts that tear you down and start to replace them with mantras to help you love your life again. Ultimately, we really don’t have control over what life delivers each of us, we only have control in the surrender. And when we surrender, we are freed from all that keeps us down. The cage door of our mind is open, it is time to turn our thoughts around and walk away from the thoughts that hold us in captivity to an illusion. Step by step, moment by moment, when we do, the world will seem like a happier place, people will seem kinder and we all will change as our light shines brighter. Embrace life!
