Happy Thanksgiving! There is so much to be grateful for!

It surprises me how disinterested we are today about things like physics, space, the universe and philosophy of our existence, our purpose, our final destination. It’s a crazy world out there. Be curious.

~Stephen Hawking, British theoretical physicist, cosmologist, and author of A Brief History of Time

Always striving, always doing, and always looking for a way to move your life forward. Today instead of reaching for your golden star, make your intention one of gratitude for all your blessings through your connection with so many wonderful people. Even as an adult, it is important to recognize that you are a human being, not a human doing. You need to make time for rest and relaxation. You need to get away from the hectic and busy nature of your life and just be. As the holiday season nears, instead of going out and acquiring more material possessions, make an investment in downtime, whether alone or with your family unit. This can be a time for spiritual enhancement as you take the opportunity to regroup, reestablish your priorities, and stand in gratitude for the blessings in your life. Instead of setting out on Black Friday, go within and rejoice in all that you already have. Stop striving, doing, and looking, and start saying thank-you for the spiritual gifts you have. As you live in line with your spirit, others will see your good manners and want to follow suit. With no more than you already have, there is so much to be grateful for. Be curious.

Magical Key to Bliss: Make saying thank-you for your crazy world your spiritual practice.
