You are enough with those brains in your head. You are worthy as you stand with those feet in your shoes. Accept this, use all your gifts, and go in the direction that you choose. You are perfect just as you are. There is no one who can replace your brilliant rising star. Look in a mirror and repeat over and over again, I will not change who I am to fit in and be accepted in this world. You are enough. Look in a mirror and truly acknowledge that beautiful person who looks back at you. You are created with everything you need to be a part of this journey. You are radiant. Look in a mirror and tell that reflection who begs to be validated that you are a being who is loved. You are pure joy. Be with yourself, imperfections and all. Be present to yourself for just this moment and embrace a confidence that you know what you know when you go within and listen to your heart. Be aware that your intuition will guide you to do the right thing every place that you go. Be confident that your decisions will be just what is right for you to follow your true calling in life; just what is necessary to follow your true North. And, embrace the fact that you are the one who will decide what is right for you; You are the one who will direct your vision as you step into your dreams. As Howard Schultz, the CEO of Starbucks, poignantly stated, “I believe life is a series of near misses. A lot of what we ascribe to luck is not luck at all. It’s seizing the day and accepting responsibility for your future. It’s seeing what other people don’t see. And pursuing that vision.” Yep, life is not luck at all. Your choices build the foundation that guides you to keep moving in the right direction. So do us all a favor and don’t play small, accept yourself where you are and who are, and go ahead and seize the day. With this knowledge, I have a challenge for you all today. The challenge is to just to believe that you were born into this world with everything that you needed to not just survive but also to thrive. You be the person who will decide where you want to go. You are a miracle that has already happened. Open your eyes to this reality, surrender to the imperfections of life, and accept the truth that you rock! Something to think about over a cup of Joe!
