Challenges are placed in our lives to see what we are made of. Are we going to rise to the occasion or turn away? Are we going to live a life standing up for what we believe or move into your own little corner just wishing that things would change for the better. One thing is certain, things will not change in your life if you give up before you start or cower to your perception of what is. We could never run unless we learned to crawl. Challenges are not obstacles, they are opportunities to strengthen the profound belief that you have that you are a person of worth and here in this world on purpose. Bullies use their strong personalities in hope that you will live in fear and not say anything. You may feel small where your circumstances in life are overwhelming. It is only when the pain of staying in the same place is greater than the pain that could be faced by the unknown that we are encouraged to make forward progress. The reality is if we do not try to make a difference in our life or the lives of others, then we assuredly will not. Something to think about! So, be the change you wish to see the world and face whatever it is that needs to be addressed. You never know what could happen. And sooner than we know it we will be looking back and smiling at how far we have come and all that we have learned since then we stood up and made the choice to climb!
