This weekend set yourself free!

“I saw the angel in the marble and carved until I set him free.” Michelangelo Buonarroti This is your greatest job or responsibility  in your life, to set yourself free. As the artist/sculptor/painter of the greatest masterpiece-YOU, you are tasked each day to envision the beautiful spirit that lies within, to figure out how to nurture its growth and when you are ready, set it free so the world may know you better.  Ahh, free, what a delightful word.  There are so many ways that we can achieve this state of being “free” and getting to know your inner creative self can be just the beginning.  What makes you tick? What colors inspire you? Where do your passions lie? When you dance do you feel more alive? When you sing do you soar to another dimension? When you ask yourself any of these questions and think about the answers, you are given the key to opening up the many doorways that will lead you down a path of greater freedom and enlightenment.  You are given the magic sculpting tool that can help you get started carving out the greatest sculpture you can ever imagine.  You are given the vital inspiration that will help you to think outside of the box of what will introduce you to the wonderful things waiting for you.  When you start to ask the questions, it will be the beginning of setting yourself free.  There are those who believe that some people in a society are meant to be tamed.  I believe that all people must tap into their wild side and tap into their inner self to find the will to run free and then invite someone else just as wild to do the same.  That is the definition of living.  So as you start your weekend, do yourself a favor to let go of the things that no longer serve you, to stand up and let the things that weigh you down fall from your shoulders, to grab onto the things that will catapult and nurture your inner stallion and to do the work to start to set your beautiful spirit free.  If it just starts by honoring yourself enough to ask one simple question-what do I love to do, then you are on your way!  Be the Michelangelo of your own life and start creating a beautiful life, you have everything you need within you!  Before you know it you will be free!
