Who will tell whether one happy moment of love or the joy of breathing or walking on a bright morning and smelling the fresh air, is not worth all the suffering and effort which life implies.
~Erich Fromm, German Social Psychologist and Humanistic Philosopher
It seems people these days are focused on all kinds of negativity. If we get too wrapped up in it all, we end up infected by the germs of discontent and unrest. It appears that there is so much resistance to rational thinking, to finding a way to compromise for the benefit of the greater good. So many of us suffer because things happen that cause great pain, but to suffer needlessly at the mercy of the few seems quite ridiculous in the grand scheme of things. So perhaps in our own small corner of the world, in our own cluster of magical minds, the real revolution can begin—a revolution where resistance is set aside in favor of embracing all that is good in this world. There is a world where we can experience happy moments of love and generous appreciation of the connections in life that highlight the beauty we see and experience. It is all there if we change the focus and place our energy in a positive place where it needs to be. As we support the revolution of love, joy, and happiness rather than misery, even in the most difficult moments, we can glimpse greatness born of integrity and character. It is there, and if we all run toward it, perhaps the people can unite for the good and change this world into something we can all be proud of.
Magical Key to Bliss: Start a revolution of love.
