“Successful is the person who has lived well, laughed often and loved much, who has never lacked appreciation for the earth’s beauty, who never fails to look for the best in others or give the best of themselves.” Mac Anderson
Live, Laugh, Love. Have gratitude for your blessings and the opportunities that come your way to embrace all three of these incredible acts during your day. There are so many ways if you just open your eyes and pay attention. Although each of us may have a personal definition for what success means in our lives, there is no better foundation to start with than the following. Live. If you woke up this morning, then you have a chance to follow whatever burning desire that is tugging at your heart. If you do one thing to make that desire a reality, then you have lived well today. Laugh. Humor is the best medicine throughout life. A good laugh can turn a frown upside down. A good chuckle could possibly be the shift that you need to see life from a different perspective. A good belly laugh could be the best distraction from the stresses and the worries that threaten to overtake you. If you spend just a few moments to step back and enjoy an opportunity to take your life less seriously through humor, then you have laughed often today. Love. If you have the opportunity to connect through kindness and love with another, than take it. If there is someone in your life who you have not seen for some time and miss dearly, reach out. If you see or know someone who could use a hug, smile or kind word, then do it. If you embark on your day, bringing with you all the love and kindness that you can muster, then you have loved much. Use these three words as a guide. Look for the best in others. And, be of service. If you start with this, you will get what you give and success in life is already yours!
