I do believe in an everyday sort of magic—the inexplicable connectedness we sometimes experience with places, people, works of art, and the like; the eerie appropriateness of moments of synchronicity; the whispered voice, the hidden presence when we think we’re alone.
~Charles de Lint, Canadian novelist and poet
Have you had moments when you experience people so familiar that you feel you may have met them before? Have you had that déjà vu feeling that you have already been to a place even though it is your first time there? When these moments occur, pay attention. The person or place is there to teach you something about yourself that you would not learn otherwise. It may be something that you need to hear, see, taste, or know that will ignite the spark of a new creative journey. Your life is built on connections that provide profound relationships and lessons. It is in the awareness of the moments of synchronicity that you can use the lessons, propelling yourself forward to heal, in some instances, or to expand your energetic field for love and creativity, in others. The synchronistic moment may be the missing link to figuring out where to go next. With this awareness, you will no longer take the meetings for granted because each one comes with a lesson for you to learn. So if you have a connection with a stranger or a loved one who delivers to you a message of love that you need to hear or experience today, don’t dismiss it as a random event. If you get just what you need, know that magical synchronicity is working in your favor to carry to you all that you need.
